Corrections-policy

Last Updated: July 2026

What Is Our Corrections Policy?

At Kratom Verdict, accuracy is one of our core editorial principles.

We recognize that the kratom industry, scientific research, laboratory standards, and regulatory information continue to evolve. While every article is researched and reviewed before publication, no editorial process is entirely immune to errors or outdated information.

When credible new information becomes available or a factual error is identified, we are committed to reviewing and correcting our content promptly.

How to Report an Error

When a potential issue is reported, our editorial team reviews the information using publicly available documentation and other reliable sources where appropriate.

If a correction is necessary, we will update the article to improve its accuracy, clarity, or completeness.

Depending on the nature of the revision, we may also update the article’s “Last Updated” date to reflect significant editorial changes.

How We Review Correction Requests

Examples of updates may include:

  • Factual inaccuracies
  • Outdated laboratory information
  • Changes to vendor policies
  • Updated Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
  • Regulatory developments
  • Broken links
  • Typographical or formatting errors
  • Clarifications where wording may be misleading

Our goal is to ensure that readers have access to information that reflects the best publicly available evidence at the time of publication or update.

How to Report an Issue

If you believe that information published on Kratom Verdict is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, we encourage you to contact us through our Contact Us page.

When submitting a correction request, please include:

  • The URL of the article
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Supporting publicly available documentation or references, if available

Providing supporting information helps us review requests more efficiently.

Editorial Accuracy and Transparency

Every correction request is evaluated individually.

Submitting a correction request does not automatically result in changes to published content.

Our editorial team independently reviews the available evidence before determining whether an update is appropriate.

Content Updates

Editorial quality is an ongoing process rather than a one-time task.

As new scientific research, laboratory standards, industry developments, and publicly available information become available, we continue reviewing and improving our content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and useful.

Our Commitment

Kratom Verdict is committed to maintaining a transparent editorial process built on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

We value constructive feedback and appreciate readers who help us strengthen the quality of our publication.

Kratom Verdict follows recognized editorial principles and encourages readers to learn more about journalistic ethics, editorial transparency, and corrections practices through trusted organizations such as the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), The Trust Project, and The Associated Press.
